Setting up shipping in your online store ensures customers can receive their orders smoothly and at accurate rates. Using OzSpeed hPanel, you can define shipping zones, rates, and methods tailored to your business needs.
Step 1: Log in to hPanel #
- Visit OzSpeed hPanel.
- Enter your credentials and log in.
- Navigate to Online Store > Shipping Settings.
Step 2: Define Shipping Zones #
- In the Shipping Zones section, click Add New Zone.
- Enter the details for the shipping zone:
- Zone Name: E.g., “Domestic (Australia)” or “International.”
- Countries/Regions: Select the locations covered by the zone.
- Save the zone.
Step 3: Add Shipping Methods for Each Zone #
- Select a shipping zone you’ve created.
- Click Add Shipping Method and choose from the following options:
- Flat Rate: A fixed shipping cost for all orders within the zone.
- Free Shipping: Offer free shipping for orders meeting specific conditions (e.g., minimum order value).
- Weight-Based: Calculate shipping costs based on the total weight of items in the cart.
- Carrier Integration (if available): Connect with carriers like DHL, FedEx, or Australia Post for real-time rates.
- Configure the method details, such as:
- Rate amount.
- Minimum/maximum order value or weight (if applicable).
- Delivery time estimates (optional).
- Save the shipping method.
Step 4: Enable Shipping Calculations at Checkout #
- In the General Shipping Settings, ensure the Enable Shipping toggle is turned on.
- Choose whether shipping costs will:
- Automatically calculate based on the customer’s location.
- Be entered manually by the customer.
Step 5: Set Default Shipping Costs (Optional) #
- If real-time or weight-based rates aren’t enabled, set default shipping costs for zones without specific rates.
- Go to Fallback Rates in the settings and enter a base shipping price.
Step 6: Customize Shipping Options Display #
- Navigate to the Checkout Settings.
- Customize how shipping options appear at checkout:
- Sort by price or delivery speed.
- Add estimated delivery times for each method.
- Save your preferences.
Step 7: Test the Shipping Configuration #
- Visit your storefront and simulate a purchase.
- Add a product to the cart and proceed to checkout.
- Enter a shipping address to confirm:
- Correct shipping options are displayed based on the customer’s location.
- Rates calculate accurately.

- Shipping Options Not Displaying:
- Ensure a shipping zone covers the customer’s location.
- Check that at least one shipping method is active in the zone.

- Slow Loading Rates:
- If using carrier integrations, ensure your API credentials are correctly configured.
