The EPP (Extensible Provisioning Protocol) Code, also known as the Authorization Code, is a security key required to transfer your domain from OzSpeed to another registrar. Follow these steps to retrieve the EPP Code from your OzSpeed account.
Steps to Get the EPP Code #
Step 1: Log in to Your OzSpeed Account #
- Visit OzSpeed hPanel.
- Enter your credentials to access the dashboard.
Step 2: Navigate to Domain Management #
- In the Domains section of your dashboard, locate the domain you wish to transfer.
- Select the domain to view its management options.
Step 3: Request the EPP Code #
- Look for the Authorization Code or EPP Code option in the domain settings.
- Click on Get EPP Code or Request Authorization Code.
- The code may be displayed directly on the dashboard or sent to the registrant’s email address.
Step 4: Check Your Email (If Applicable) #
- If the EPP Code is sent via email:
- Check the registrant’s email address associated with the domain.
- Look for an email from OzSpeed containing the EPP Code.
- If you do not receive the email:
- Check your spam or junk folder.
- Ensure that the email address in the domain’s WHOIS record is correct.
Step 5: Save the EPP Code #
- Once retrieved, save the code securely.
- Provide the EPP Code to the new registrar when initiating the domain transfer.
Troubleshooting Tips #
- EPP Code Option Not Visible:
- Ensure the domain is unlocked in the domain management settings.
- Some domains (e.g., country-specific TLDs) may not require an EPP Code. Contact OzSpeed support for clarification.
- Incorrect Registrant Email:
- Update the email address in the domain’s WHOIS settings before requesting the code.
- Code Not Received:
- If the EPP Code does not arrive within a few minutes, contact OzSpeed support for assistance.
