Step 1: Choose a Domain Name #
- Go to ozspeed.com.au and log in to your account.
- Click on “Domains” and either:
- Register a New Domain: Enter the desired domain name and check for availability.
- Use an Existing Domain: If you already own a domain, update its DNS settings to point to OzSpeed’s nameservers.

- Choose a domain name that reflects your business or brand to make it easy for visitors to remember.
Step 2: Select Your Hosting Plan #
- In the Dashboard, go to “My Services” and choose a hosting plan that suits your needs (e.g., Starter Plan, Smart Biz Plan).
- Click “Order Now” to purchase and set up the plan.
Step 3: Access the hPanel Dashboard #
- Once your hosting plan is activated, log in to the hPanel Dashboard.
- Here, you will find all the tools needed to create and manage your website.
Step 4: Choose a Website Building Method #
- Decide how you want to build your website:
- 1-Click WordPress Install: Ideal for users who want a customizable and flexible platform.
- Website Builder: Use the drag-and-drop builder for a simple, no-code setup.
- Manual Upload: Upload your own website files if you have pre-built content.
Option A: Using WordPress #
- Click on “Install WordPress” in the hPanel.
- Enter your site name, admin username, and password.
- Click “Install” and wait for the process to complete.
- Log in to your WordPress dashboard by visiting yourdomain.com/wp-admin.
Option B: Using the Website Builder #
- Click on “Website Builder” in the hPanel.
- Choose a template that fits your business or industry.
- Customize the template by dragging and dropping elements (text, images, buttons).
- Click “Publish” when you’re ready to go live.
Option C: Manual Upload #
- Go to the File Manager in hPanel.
- Navigate to the public_html folder.
- Upload your website files (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to the public_html directory.
Step 5: Set Up Essential Features #
- Enable SSL Certificate: Go to the Security section and click “Enable SSL” for a secure HTTPS connection.
- Create Email Accounts: Set up custom email addresses (e.g., info@yourdomain.com) in the Email section.
Step 6: Test Your Website #
- Visit your domain to ensure that your website is live and displaying correctly.
- Check all links, images, and forms to make sure they are working.
Step 7: Optimize Your Website #
- Enable caching and CDN in the Performance tab to speed up your site.
- Use SEO tools in WordPress or the website builder to improve search engine rankings.
