The Websites section in OzSpeed’s hPanel is your centralized hub for managing all aspects of your websites. From adding new sites, managing existing domains, and configuring applications, to monitoring website performance, the Websites section offers all the tools you need to effectively manage your online presence. Here’s a detailed guide on how to navigate and use this feature.
Step 1: Log in to hPanel #
- Go to ozspeed.com.au and log in with your account credentials.
- Once logged in, navigate to the Websites section from the main dashboard.
Step 2: Overview of the Websites Section #
The Websites section provides an overview of all the websites associated with your hosting account. You will see a list of domains, subdomains, and any active applications (e.g., WordPress, PrestaShop). For each website, you can quickly access options to manage files, applications, settings, and performance.
Key Features: #
- Website Overview: Displays a summary of your websites, including the primary domain, status, and key settings.
- Quick Actions: Provides shortcuts for common tasks like editing files, accessing the database, and managing SSL certificates.
Step 3: Add a New Website #
- Click on “Add Website” in the Websites section.
- Enter the domain name for the new site (e.g., yournewsite.com).
- Choose whether to add an add-on domain, subdomain, or parked domain.
- Add-on Domain: Creates a separate website with its own content.
- Subdomain: Creates a subdirectory of an existing domain (e.g., blog.yourdomain.com).
- Parked Domain: Points an additional domain to your primary site.
- Click “Add” to confirm.
Tip: #
- Ensure the domain’s nameservers are set to OzSpeed’s nameservers before adding it (e.g., ns1.ozspeed.com.au, ns2.ozspeed.com.au).
Step 4: Install Applications Using Auto Installer #
If you want to set up a CMS like WordPress, Joomla, or PrestaShop, use the Auto Installer feature:
- In the Websites section, click on “Manage Website” next to the desired domain.
- Click on “Auto Installer”.
- Select the application you want to install and follow the setup prompts.
