Step 1: Log In to Your OzSpeed Account #
- Go to ozspeed.com.au and click on “Client Login”.
- Enter your registered email and password, then click “Login”.
- You will be directed to the hPanel Dashboard, where you can manage your hosting services.
Step 2: Select Your Hosting Plan #
- In the Dashboard, navigate to “My Services”.
- Click on the hosting plan you just purchased (e.g., Starter Plan, Smart Biz Plan, Cloud Startup Plan).
- This will take you to the hosting setup page.
Step 3: Connect a Domain #
- You can either:
- Use an Existing Domain: If you already have a domain, update its DNS settings to point to OzSpeed’s nameservers.
- Register a New Domain: If you don’t have a domain, follow the on-screen prompts to register one.
- Once the domain is connected, click “Continue”.
Step 4: Install a Website Platform #
- Choose a platform to build your website:
- 1-Click WordPress Install: If you want to use WordPress, click “Install WordPress” and follow the prompts.
- Website Builder: Use the drag-and-drop builder for an easy, no-code setup.
- Manual Setup: If you prefer, you can upload your own website files using the File Manager.
- Click “Install” or “Setup” based on your selected option.
Step 5: Configure Your Website Settings #
- After installation, configure your website settings, such as:
- Site Title: Enter the name of your website.
- Admin Username and Password: Create secure credentials for managing your website.
- Email Notifications: Set up an email address to receive updates and alerts.
- Click “Save” to apply your changes.
Step 6: Set Up SSL for Secure Browsing #
- Go to the Security section in hPanel.
- Click on “Enable SSL” to activate a free SSL certificate for your website.
- This ensures your website is accessible via HTTPS, providing a secure connection for your visitors.
Step 7: Optimize Your Website Performance #
- Enable caching and CDN in the Performance tab to speed up your website.
- These tools help improve loading times and provide a better user experience.
Step 8: Test Your Website #
- Visit your domain in a web browser to check if your website is live.
- Clear your browser cache if you don’t see the changes immediately.
